The Technical Support Analyst reports into the IT team to help provide daily and sometimes on call support for the medical center. The successful candidate can expect to work supporting vocera devices, RFID badges and supporting secondary servers/systems. Daily Duties: This person will be reviewing and analyzing support tickets, handling account creation and provisioning/deprovisioning. You will work closely with IT to monitor system downtimes/outages as well system upgrades etc. You will also help with inventory, device and asset management. Job Requirements: * This role will be a mix of on-site and remote local to the Sacramento area * Must be comfortable being on call at times (potentially once every 3 weeks) * Experience working in a hospital or health care setting is preferred but not required * This is a mid-level technical role * Experience working closely with vendors Must Have Technical Skills: * Experience working with RFID or pagers on a wireless network (Aeroscout or CenTrack a big plus) * Experience supporting backend servers in a windows, VMware environment * Experience supporting vocera technology a nice to have (cellular, pagers etc..) * General IT troubleshooting experience Additional Skills: * Experience working with Nurse-Call systems a big plus but not required * Experience with hardware or software security in a hospital setting (card access, surveillance, visitor management) * Must be able to work individually and with teams * Excellent organizaton and communication skills SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS RFID wireless network experience (Aeroscout, CenTrak) Backend Server Support (windows, vmware) Vocera support a plus
